Anglers Lodge is literally on the banks of the famed Henry’s Fork of the Snake and 45 minutes from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Each air conditioned and heated room has two queen sized beds, full bathroom with shower/tub, small refrigerator, microwave, and 4 cup coffee makers. In the summer, anglers can see rising trout from their window. Families can play along the river or take in a local hike. And snowmobilers have direct access to some of Island Park’s best trails. Furnishings within the rooms are handmade with Lodgepole pine, extending the lodge’s warm atmosphere throughout the guest rooms.
We have 15 main units within the lodge on two floors. Our lower floor rooms have immediate access to the river bank while the upper floor rooms have a breathtaking panoramic view of the river on their balcony. We also have one room with a small kitchenette for those wanting to dine in during their stay.
During the summer months (May 15 to October 1), our main lodge, restaurant, and bar are open with a delightful local menu and top shelf liquors, beer, and wine. Enjoy our back deck on the banks of the river for a sunset dinner.
During the winter months (October - April), our main lodge, restaurant, and bar are closed for the season. A number of local services are available and there are multiple restaurants within a short 15 minute drive.
The lodge is centrally located between Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. Drive times from Bozeman, MT are approximately 1.5 hours and Idaho Falls is about the same. Jackson, Wyoming is approximately 2 hours from the lodge. West Yellowstone is 45 minutes.
