Deposits and Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

Anglers Lodge and River lodge are family operated and your booking is important to us. Great care goes into being prepared for your visit. Cancellations and ‘no-shows’ result in over-staffing and unnecessary expenses, which we would rather not pass on to other guests through higher prices. Please remember that this is a seasonal business with only so many days to schedule dining and our capacities are limited. We do not over-book, so if you cancel your reservation, change the date(s), or reduce the number in your party, it is opportunity lost to us and other guests. To offer the best rates and guest services the following policies we will 100% hold to and we do not offer discounts because of power outages, acts of God, or being in the wilderness. We will however give you the best customer service we are able to offer.

PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING: For reservations made 60 days or more before arrival, a 50% deposit is charged with the remaining balance run 60 days before. For reservations made within 60 days of arrival, the entire amount is charged.  Cancellations in whole or in part made more than 30 days before arrival forfeits only the 50% deposit amount.  Cancellations in whole or in part made within 30 days of arrival will forfeit the entire rental. Rescheduling your reservation dates can be made without fee as long as the new dates are within the same business season.

THIRD PARTY AGENTS: For all reservations booked through third party booking agents such as Expedia, Booking.com, etc., you MUST cancel your reservations through that agency before we can consider any refunds.  Failure to do so will result in additional fees.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend our guests contact TravelGuard, a travel insurance company. Travelguard reimburses nonrefundable, unused payments or deposits if you must cancel your trip due to illness, injury, or death for yourself, a family member, a traveling companion, a business partner, or for other covered reasons.
